January 13 Weapon Balance Effects On Meta

Cold War DMR Weapons Brought In Line

Mostly A Bug Fix

The nerfs made significant impact to the recoil & damage of the Cold War Meta DMR weapons. They will no longer be the all-range shredding machines they used to be, but thanks to their fast fire rate and semi-decent handling despite nerfs, they are still capable weapons in the right hands. However, it is very likely that the meta will move on to other weapons with similar performance like Kar98k.

DMR 14 - Still Viable Post Nerf?

DMR 14 lost some advantage over long range, but is still viable up to medium or even long range if the player knows how to handle its recoil kick after firing the first round. It will now be difficult to challenge full snipers without skill, but thanks to its fast fire rate DMR 14 is still potent up as a close up/ mid range multipurpose gun.

Check Out The DMR 14's loadout Here!

Type 63 - Still Viable Post Nerf?

Type 63 received nerf in the damage & recoil attachment area, but was relatively untouched in its base range recoil unlike DMR 14. Type 63 was originally a mid/ close range oriented weapon based on its stats to begin with, and thanks to its relative fast rate of fire we feel that its pretty much the same viable weapons as before.

Diamatti Akimbo - Still Viable Post Nerf?

Diamatti & Akimbo kind of lost some damage in this nerf, requiring another burst to down targets. However, as there are currently no better alternatives to self-defense secondary weapons without the use of Amped Perk, Diamatti is still one of the best secondary to choose from. We would recommend that players who use the Diamatti for self defense ditch the Dual Wield (Akimbo) and use the sights for better consistency.

January 7 Weapon Balance Effects On Meta

Less Use For The Cold War Weapons

Mostly A Bug Fix

The nerfs were brought upon by the lack of recoil and damage output of the said guns. It also didn't help that the guns themselves exhibit good fire rates when used with certain attachments. With that said, it is very likely that the meta will move on to other weapons with similar performance.

Grau 5.56 Nerf: Is The Grau Still Good In Warzone?

The GRAU 5.56 was nerfed in mid-2020 and despite this change, many weren't convinced it actually did something.

The latest meta choices would suggest it was hit severely, but that's more down to the fact that the game has progressed since then and there are many other strong weapons.

Players are always falling back to this weapon due to its easy handling, consistent damage and excellent range (as well as most players probably having all the attachments unlocked.

So is the Grau 5.56 still good in Warzone?

Is The Grau 5.56 Still Good In Warzone?

TheXclusiveAce does a great job explaining the nerf that came to the GRAU 5.56 and MP5; these two guns have received nerfs in some areas and in some cases have actually been buffed.

That's why these two weapons are still popular, but they have had some balancing changes since.

This gun is still very good in Warzone, it's particularly fantastic at longer ranges due to its clean ironsights, strong damage and easy handling.

While there are better options overall, this is hardly so far from the meta that it isn't worth using.

Grau Nerf

TheXclusiveAce has outlined the changes to the Grau 5.56, confirming that the gun's damage range was subject to big changes.

Infinity Ward succeeded in this department as the damage range has been reduced by a few metres.

The base Grau 5.56 has had its standard 4 shot kill range reduced (from 34 to 30 metres) and its 5 shot kill range reduced (from 61 to 58 metres).

They've also nerfed the effectiveness of the Grau with the Nexus (40% to 33% boost) and Archangel barrels (45% to 40%).

The medium damage range (standard 5 shot kill) has been reduced from 23 to 22. This has absolutely no effect in core multiplayer, but in Warzone it will require you to expel an extra shot on those wearing 2-3 armor plates.

As well as the damage range, the recoil was targeted on the Grau 5.56. Overall, it's hard to distinguish a big difference, the recoil patterns appear to bob from side to side more than before. Some may even say it is an improvement, where it's lost it's tighter spread it appears to land more consistently in certain phases; you could argue it is an improvement.

So what does all of this mean to your gameplay? The difference will be noticeable on a case by case basis, but it's still the best gun in the game. While the nerfs will have effects on the weapon, the gun was so far ahead of anything else that it would take a seriously strong nerf to knock it off of its perch.

Warzone is about damage and accuracy - two things this weapon excels in, meaning people will still continue to use it until other weapons are buffed or this gets hit again.

These nerfs may make some other weapons more attractive, such as the M4A1, M13 and Kilo 141, all of which fair better at close to medium range, but it's still the top dog for now.

MP5 Nerf

TheXclusiveAce has done a deep dive into how the MP5 has been effected with the new patch. Most notably, the 10mm rounds were targeted.

Both the 9mm and 10mm rounds have reduced the damage at closer to medium range, but it has actually seen a buff at a distance (instead of reducing).

The 10mm rounds now deal 22 damage to the torso and 19 at range (21 to the torso and 18 to the limbs).

These numbers, on their own, aren't particularly impressive, but in practice can make a big difference in gunfights. While it will not reduce the number of shots to kill overall, it will make the number of shots to kill more consistent.

This increase in its consistency is down to the increase in limb damage, requiring you to be less accurate and still come away with a kill.

As well as the damage, recoil was a bit talking point for the MP5; which supposedly got nerfed. This is simply not the case, the spray pattern has noticeably gotten tighter and more consistent.

It's worth mentioning that the "pre-patch" recoil pattern is from game launch and if the recoil did get nerfed in this patch, it means that the recoil pattern would have had to have been buffed at some point during the year.

He also notes that the gun didn't receive an official recoil buff at any stage, so it would have to have been a stealth change; so, in that instance, the gun's recoil was nerfed.

Many players have commented on the fact that they haven't noticed much of a nerf to recoil since the 1.23 patch.

Warzone Season 5 weapon buffs and nerfs: All balance changes

Warzone Season 5started on Friday last week, but the game's developer Raven Software has decided to postpone balance changes for a few days.

The weekend has passed and a balance update is already here, with the 16th August update for Warzone, focused exclusively on weapon balance changes for the battle royale.

And it looks like the Season 5 balance changes aren't as big as some players might have wanted them to be, as Raven states that they are "generally pleased" with the meta.

Warzone Season 5 weapon buffs and nerfs: All balance changes

"We are generally pleased with the state of balance and we do not think anything needs to be immediately addressed," Raven states. "However, we do feel there are some outliers in the Assault Rifle category that have been top tier long enough that it is now appropriate to reduce their power level to give other weapons some time in the spotlight. Those changes will be coming very soon."

Warzone 16th August update comes with only one change in the assault rifle category, which means that we may expect more balance changes for ARs to come later this summer.

The AS VAL comes with a small damage nerf, as Raven states that it has one of the fastest TTKs.

In the SMG category, the MP5 has received a few damage nerfs, but it also gets an Upper Torso Damage Multiplier increased, to reward players who are better at hitting the right places. The Fennec should now be better at distance, while the OTs 9 should be easier to control while ADS.

Finally, several pistols have received nerfs, as Raven believees that they proved too strong for secondary weapons.

Check out the full Warzone Season 5 balance changes below.

Warzone August 16 patch notes

Warzone Season 5 weapon buffs and nerfs: All balance changes

Assault Rifles

  • AS VAL (MW)
    • Maximum Damage decreased from 30 to 27

The AS VAL (MW), following our balance overhaul, retained one of the fastest, easily achieved TTKs in the game. While its magazine capacity does hold it back, its TTK potential has remained well outside of the range we have been targeting.

Submachine Guns

  • Fennec (MW)
    • Bullet Velocity increased by 13.4%

The Fennec (MW) has struggled to gain footing due to some glaring weaknesses. This change will make the Fennec (MW) viable at slightly further distances.

  • MP5 (MW)
    • Maximum Damage decreased from 34 to 31
    • Maximum Damage Range decreased by 5.4%
    • Upper Torso Damage Multiplier increased from 1 to 1.1

This change is intended to place some of the power of the Submachine Gun Charlie (MW) behind a mechanical requirement - making it a little less forgiving.

  • OTs 9 (BOCW)
    • ADS Weapon Sway decreased

When making large, sweeping motions while aiming down sights with the OTs 9 (BOCW), players could find most of their front iron sights obstructed by the rear iron sights. This type of sightline obstruction can be frustrating when attempting to effectively track enemies.

Warzone Season 5 weapon buffs and nerfs: All balance changes
  • AMP 63 (BOCW)
    • Maximum Damage decreased from 33 to 31
    • Mid Damage now 28
    • Minimum Damage decreased from 28 to 23
  • M19 (MW)
    • This change only applies while using Akimbo
      • Maximum Damage decreased from 33 to 29
      • Mid Damage decreased from 28 to 25
      • Minimum Damage decreased from 23 to 20

  • Sykov (MW)
    • This change only applies while using the Sorokin 140mm Auto
      • Maximum Damage decreased from 27 to 24
      • Mid Damage decreased from 23 to 20
      • Minimum Damage decreased from 19 to 17

THE GRAU IS META AGAIN! 😯 (Big Warzone Update!)

Olga invited everyone to go dancing took Arthur's wife Lena by the hand and they went to the center of the room. Sasha, the same young guy, also took my hand and lightly hugged me around the waist and led me after Olga. I was very excited by this closeness to him, he was a little shy and kept his hands at my waist.

Buff grau

The men continued to discuss something, sometimes turning to raised tones, but I almost did not perceive their dialogue about interest, stocks and investments, it was. Somehow not up to that. I felt as bad as my unexpected lover: the pussy was dissatisfied throbbed, asking for a hard penis. and even flowed so that I was seriously afraid to wet the armrest on which I was sitting.

the GRAU GOT BUFFED 😳 but I did something different..

He photographed my pussy in blood, and me on the bed. then, when he entered me for the second time, he took a picture of the penis in my pussy, and blood. gave me a taste of blood - this is the taste of your virginity, he says. He stroked me so affectionately.

The round knees did not want to hide under the hem of the robe, despite the efforts of the young woman.
